This is a redone version of a painting I created in 2020. The original idea came to me one night while I was listening to a musical version of the Heart Sutra by Guan Yin. The song touched my heart deeply, and I envisioned a beautiful lotus appearing in front of my forehead, radiating gentle energies toward me. I felt profound relief and calm.
I decided to redo this painting because I wanted the blessing from Guan Yin to feel more vibrant and richly textured. I also felt I could add more colours and energies — perhaps as a stronger blessing for the family who collected this piece.
