The four Great Heavenly Kings of Buddhism—Dhritarashtra, Virudhaka, Virupaksha, and Vaishravana—along with the Garuda, show incredible bravery, kindness, and dedication to protecting the Buddhist teachings. I have always wanted to create a piece that shows this powerful protection as a way to express my gratitude.
Apart from delivering this fierce energy, the Five-Colored Banners mentioned in the Medicine Buddha Sutraand elements from the Manjushri Bodhisattva Cards are also my inspirations for this painting. Through these, I want to share a wish for wisdom, health, and blessings. I feel that somehow everyone needs this kind of power to calm their body and mind, helping us live with more peace, relaxation, and safety in this Saha World (our earthly world).
這幅作品名為《守護》。 佛教中的四大護法——持國天王、增長天王、廣目天王、多聞天王，以及金翅大鵬鳥，展現出無比的勇猛、慈悲與護持佛法的承擔力。我一直渴望創作一幅能表達這種守護力的作品，以作感謝。 除了這些剛猛的力量，我亦在畫中融入了《藥師琉璃光如來本願功德經》提及的五色綵幡，以及文殊菩薩占卜卡的元素，寄託了對智慧、健康與祝福的追求。身處於這娑婆世界中，或許每個人都需要這股力量，來安頓身心，讓生活得更自在、放鬆和感到平安。
